Do I need a prescription for all medications?
Some medications require a prescription, while others are available over the counter. Our pharmacists can advise you.
Can I return or exchange medicines at Honest pharmacies?
By law in Malta, once medicines (including prescription and over-the-counter items) leave the pharmacy, they cannot be returned or resold — even if unopened. This is to ensure the safety, quality, and integrity of medicines for all patients.
Why can’t medicines be returned?
Once medicines have left our control, we can no longer guarantee that they have been stored correctly or kept in the right conditions. This is a health and safety requirement set by the Medicines Authority.
What should I do if I no longer need my medicine?
If you have unused or expired medicines, please do not throw them in the bin or flush them down the toilet. Bring them back to any Honest pharmacy for safe disposal in our medicine disposal bins.
Can I get a refund for non-medicine products?
Yes, non-medicinal products such as cosmetics, skincare, and wellness items may be returned if they are unopened, unused, and in their original packaging, subject to our returns policy.
Do you sell health and wellness products?
Yes, our pharmacies stock vitamins, supplements, skincare, cosmetics, and other wellness products.
Do I need an appointment for clinic services?
For most services, booking an appointment is necessary; however, some doctors do accept walk-ins. We always advise calling beforehand.
